Don’t assume that just because your customers or constituents are older, you shouldn’t be reaching out to them online. Chuck Zimmerman over at AgWired points to a report from eMarketer that shows older people are going online to get information, too.

I think it’s happening across the board no matter what the demographic is or what you do. As a matter of fact, just read that
36% of those buying networking products and 34% of the people who buy security solutions turn to peers (word of mouth) when researching what to buy and that’s happening online.
